I am a Brazilian professional with A2 English.
I want you to be my English Teacher.
Please:
Use simple English (A2 level English for ESL learners).
If I make a mistake, explain it simply.
Tell me if I am translating directly from Portuguese.
Be very encouraging!
Let’s start. Ask me: ‘What is your name and what do you do for work?’

Practice Prompts.
- Conversation: “I have a new colleague from the US. Can you practice a 5-minute conversation with me? You start.”
- Vocabulary: “Give me a list of 5 common phrases for introducing myself at a business event. Explain them in simple English.”
- Correction: “I wrote this: ‘I have 30 years.’ Is this correct in English? If not, why? (Remember I am Brazilian).”
Real-World Task.
Task: Write a short introduction for a new Slack or WhatsApp work group.
Focus: Use “I am [Age]” instead of “I have [Age]” and “I work at [Company].”
What to do: Write 3 sentences about yourself (Name, Role, and “I’m happy to be here”).
Which prompt to use: “I wrote this introduction: [Insert your text]. Can you make it sound more natural for a professional environment? Keep it simple.”

A reflection prompt to ask ChatGPT.
“Based on our conversation today, what are 2 things I should practice more?
Do I have a ‘Brazilian habit’ when I speak?”

Now to finnish today, let’s use this prompt.
Copy and paste this into ChatGPT:
“I wrote this introduction: [ insert your text ]. Can you rewrite it as a professional introduction for a Slack or WhatsApp work group?
Make it three simple sentences about my name, my role, and that I’m happy to be here. Please use ‘I am [ age ]’ and ‘I work at [ company ],’ and keep it natural and professional.”
