Lesson 9: Learn to talk about your learning goals and schedule.
Goal: Create a “Master Prompt” that is customized exactly for your job and your life.
Key Idea.
English Idea: Consistency. In English, we say “Practice makes perfect.” You don’t need to study for 2 hours. You need 15 minutes of “Active Practice” every day.

Now you have ChatGPT open, let’s start here.
Copy and paste this prompt into ChatGPT to start.
Copy and paste this to create your permanent “Personal Teacher” profile:
“I want to create a permanent profile for my English study. Here is my info:
- My Job: [Insert your job title, e.g., Software Developer].
- My Level: A2 (Basic/Lower-Intermediate).
- My Biggest Difficulty: [e.g., Speaking on calls / Writing fast emails].
- My Goal: To feel confident in international meetings.
Please create a Weekly Study Plan for me. I have 15 minutes a day. Tell me exactly what to ask you each day (Monday to Friday) to improve in my specific job area.”

Practice Prompts.
- The Vocabulary Builder: “Based on my job as a [Job Title], give me a list of the 10 most important verbs I use every day. Write them in a sentence.”
- The Simulator: “I have a big presentation/meeting next month. Can you create a plan to help me prepare for 5 minutes every day until then?”
- The Roleplay Master: “From now on, every time I say ‘Let’s roleplay’, I want you to act as my [Boss/Client/Colleague] and have a 3-minute conversation with me, then give me feedback.”
Real-World Task.
Task: Set up your “English Environment.”
- What to do: 1. Change your ChatGPT language settings to English. 2. Save the “Core Prompt” from this lesson in a “Notes” app on your phone. 3. Spend 10 minutes today talking to AI about your weekend plans.
- Focus: Don’t use a translator! Try to explain your ideas using the simple words you know. If you get stuck, ask ChatGPT: “How do I say [Portuguese Word] in English?”

A reflection prompt to ask ChatGPT.
“ChatGPT, we have finished our 9-lesson course.
Based on all our chats, give me a ‘Graduation Report’:What is the #1 thing I should focus on next week to keep improving?”
What is my biggest strength?
